10 PS4 Features We Want Announced at E3 2015

The PlayStation 4 is already an amazing system full of features like Share Play that have never been seen before in a gaming console. That being said, there is still room for improvement as Sony’s latest console is currently missing some features that were a staple of the PS3. Thankfully, hope is around the corner as E3 is coming up in less than a month. To mark this occasion, PlayStation LifeStyle has made a list of 10 PS4 features we want to see announced at E3.

Being able to turn the light bar off would be appreciated.

I don't get why people would disagree with that. I understand why it's there, but until Morpheus is released it's only real implementation is some admittedly neat, but also not entirely necessary gameplay implementations. It would extend the battery life considerably, and I'm not sure why people would disagree with at least having the option to disable it for those who have no plans to get Morpheus, and who place a higher premium on battery life than they do it's currently displayed applications.

I have mine on the dimmed setting and it really does make a difference to battery life

It's does make a nice difference. I'd guess that it prolongs the battery life by at least 15-20%.

I still have both my PS3 and PS4 hooked up, because some of the classic games on PSN are just too good to pass up for PS3.

Would LOVE if there was a big push to get some of these games on PS4, so I could finally retire my PS3 - but I guess thats just a nice to have imo.

How about being able to rip CD to my hard drive ps3 and 360 did bell the very first xbox can so why can't my ps4 and xbox one? It's b.s. the ps4 and 360 should of lunched with all past specs and more so I'm a lil ticked off this gen.

I know this isn't the best solution but spotify on ps4 is awesome. Has every genre of music out there and you can add individual songs to your playlist or add full album.

The best thing about it is you are listening to free music legally. With just an add after every few songs that last about 10 seconds.

It doesn't bother me at all really, but I think that it'd be nice to be able to disable it for those who'd like to do so.

I never notice it, even on games that use it. Wouldn't mind turning it off for games that don't need it, but the people claiming it increases battery life have no clue how little power that a LED light uses. You could run that little light at full blast for 10 years with a single charge of the battery if the battery didn't have current leakage.

EA Access, more cloud storage,improvements to Now, and external hard drive would be great.

Agree on the more cloud storage, have to micro manage my saves to not run out of space.

Also a select all option when trying to back saves up to a USB drive would be really nice, having to individually go to each game to back it up is tedious.

I agree to this 100%. Keep features at a minimum. Imagine if all those resources reserved for recording video, sharing pictures, handling UI functions, and managing real time monitoring of network activities were given for nothing but games.

The priorities of today's gamers is all out of whack. They fall over themselves for new API's, but don't even ask for the most obvious thing which would bring the most immediate increase in power so they can watch TV, while surfing the net, while chatting with their 10 friends who can't all shut up long enough to hear what a single one of them is saying, while tea-bagging some guy in COD.

Mmm, yes for that PSX emulation, even better if they managed to get the games running at higher resolutions.

(PS2 emulation may be a bit too hard to pull of due to technical reasons)
