TalkingAboutGames writes: "Excuse me, sir, would you like to throw the frisbee to the cute little dog?", said the Nintendo PR rep standing over the Wii Sports Resort kiosk.
Well, no. I really wouldn't. But it's my job, so I guess I can suck it up for a little while.
That negativity lasted for about two throws. Then the cute little dog started to jump up and catch frisbees I was throwing at it, and that virtual cuteness was all I needed. Both the dog and the game grew on me, and I started to get the hang of throwing the frisbee. What started as a reluctant, begrudging acceptance to play the game turned into genuine appreciation and, dare I say, a lot of fun.
It then turned into a mentality of "Can I go just one more round, pretty please?"
