We’re not done with legal news for the day, folk. It seems that the big guys don’t always win as Blizzard Entertainment has reportedly lost a lawsuit in which they attempted to place an injunction on a Diablo III gold seller. Yes, they lost.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Speaking at SXSW Sydney, Mike Morhaime shared some insight into his departure from Blizzard Entertainment, the company he co-founded.
“There’s this great Steve Jobs quote I love: If you keep your eye on the profit, you’re going to skimp on the product. But if you keep your eye on the product, the profit will follow, and I really believe that,” Morhaime explained.
I think that basically explains the problem with Blizzard now and clearly goes against high level execs who couldn't give a toss about the games.
Samwise Didier, the legendary art director who helped define Blizzard's art style and is even credited with coining the name "Warcraft" is retiring after 32 years.
Must be something bad happening at MS (going by someone's obscure observation) right guys ? Surely ?
He is fairly young still, so I wonder why he would retire from Blizzard. Maybe a new job, or something behind the scenes.
I hate gold sellers and the tards that buy from them. Take FFXIV the gil sellers there spam your GD mesages over and over again. You blacklist them and they show up with a new one. Its so bad but people buy there fake crap. Really buying gold or gil or any game type money is cheating. So many people pay to win. More money then brains.
