Surely this is the lowest price yet for Microsoft's Xbox One console? Note: minus controller.
A console without a controller? How are you supposed to 'Jump in'?
With Kinect? Oh wait it probably doesn't include one of those either. Are these opened up already or what? I don't get the "no controllerness" of the deal. Someone explain please.
Looks more like a crazy deal just to get you into the site, nothing at all to do with MS. What happens to the controllers though that would have been in it.... Do not recommend clicking the link either...
Would be good as a second xbox in different room, no need for another controller then.
With multiple retailers running sales for Xbox One in the last few weeks offering it for as low as $175 with a PS3/360 trade-in, I'm expecting a new Xbox One sku and another price cut announcement at E3 next month.
Now that's what I call a deal @ 209.00 and I need one for my office
Well if you're looking for a ps4 they are also only $269 from the same retailer with a controller. A X1 controller costs $60 so the ps4 and X1 cost about the same on this site, although I don't trust used products unless its from a well known friend. http://www.cowboom.com/deal...
it comes with a controller just no hdmi cable click the link and look at whats in the box
They're literly giving it away now. Wonder whats the next deal going to be like? Xbox one free with a kids meal and 9 pieces of Chicken Mcnuggets.
They would be literally giving it away if you didn't have to literally pay $209.00.
And that a bad thing because. ..? I'd like a -somewhat- free PS4 too.
With chicken mcnuggets? Not a bad deal, I'll buy it.
Seeing that McDonalds only sells Mcnuggets in boxes of 6, 10, and 20.........I guess I have to assume the nuggets are refurbished too.
Preowned is a no go for me
Exactly anyone buying used these days is crazy! They just dont build electronics like they used to. Its called planned obsolecence i think where they intionally use parts which only have a few years worth of shelf life, forcing you to buy replacements. Electronics from the past had much better build quality especially when made in Japan! I swear i have never had any of my retro consoles made in Japan fail, same goes for every electronics i have bought over the years which were made there. Sadly going of last gens unreliable consoles i wouldnt advise any one to buy used, that said this gen has surprised me with how reliable all 3 current gen consoles have been. I own all 3 and all 3 are built very well and touch wood so far have a verry low fail rate. I have to commend Microsoft, the X1 is by far the most quite and barely gets warm. They nailed it and for one have actually found the asthetic really grow on me, it looks big and more like a entertainment device vs the sleek games console looks of the PS4, both to me are sexy but that dam wobble of the PS4 makes it kinda cheap and annoying as hell! The WiiU is in my opinion just too bland, i wish it had more personality like the Western Nes, N64 etc. Regardless Never buy a console used!!!
Depends on how used. i have not had a rrod on my launch xbox which was sold after 4 years (after that i do not know) and got a xbox slim in 2011 which still goes and is quiet. My phat 60gb ps3 still runs awesome. i just blow the fan out every now and then as i know it is the loudest one. my ps4 and xbox one give me plenty of love. The only system i have had ever fail on my was the disc drive of my phat ps2. I repaired it myself once, and accidentally broke it when i tried the second time. A used Xboxone only a little over a year old would not be a bad gamble. The failure rate of systems is higher, but there are millions who haven't had any failures
I agree. Though Microsoft has stated that the Xbox One was designed/built to last ten years without ever being fully powered down, ie in standby mode. Goodness, I hope that is true. It seems as though all 8'th gen consoles thus far have had a much lower failure rate than last gen, with no widespread problems to speak of like the RROD and YLOD from gen 7.
there's a warranty plan you can include in the purchase.
How is it the same price in the UK compared to the US?
I would not trust this sell, cause if it don't come with a controller that means it's been open!!! So no telling what shape the console is in....I would pass
Product Type: Pre-Owned Condition: Fair lol, I think I would pass
I got a "Fair" PS4 from this site almost a year ago and it came with a couple of scratches on the gloss but that's it. Still works to this day. I can understand why people are skeptical about buying used but I honestly couldn't believe how good of a condition my console came in when the description wasn't too promising. From a forum I go to, everyone else pretty much has the same experiences with Cowboom's products. The descriptions of the conditions are just crap compared to their real products.
How do headlines like this get approved? No controller and used?
No controller and used? Is this from the Goodwill store? How did this get approved?
Next it'll be minus the power supply
If it had a controller and hit $199, I would have to get it.
Cowboom does this all of the time. They sell used Xbox Ones for pretty cheap. And often times it doesn't always come with everything. Sometimes they don't have the controller, the hdmi cable, headset and so on. From what I saw a while ago, you could get an Xbox One with everything (no Kinect though) for less than $300 sometimes. I Or a little over $300, so not too bad. Wish I had the money at the moment, cause I'd probably jump on this.
This has nothing to do with microsoft and no way i would trust this site the console is used.I see the sony fanboys hard at work with the comments. They dont even know that this is not a deal from microsoft but a website to get clicks.Very sad read the article next time its really simple to do.Also the writer must be really bored to write an article about a used XOne for sale
Confirmed this is for used systems, not new.
that's still a great deal even if you buy the controller separately.
199 and they hit the jackpot.
How is this news? "Second Hand Xbox One for 209 usd" should be the title and it shouldn't have even gone among the hot topics.
