A look as to whether or not Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl and Squid Splatoon Amiibo figures are worth buying.
They look amazing, and I think it'll be really fun to try single player levels with different weapons! To me, they're worth it, but I understand some people aren't interested in them.
10+ missions plus an outfit on each? This is what Amiibis ARE suppose to be. I'm so mad that the 3 pack sold out instantly because I really wanted the squid but at least I go the boy an girl.
Maybe its me, but I despise these articles that access value from what they've read. I mean, who would read a review based off the writers perception of various other reviews or what they heard in passing? Thats nothing against the author, the site, or the amiibos, but the real test will be what the missions are. Like if they're 30+ missions where you shoot targets, can finish in 20 seconds, are going from point A to B asap, the same missions just with different characters/colors, then thats not really that great. Again, I am not trying to judge anyone, but having a fighting game with 50 fighters sounds great, though if you only have 8 or 9 truly different characters with 5 reskins a piece, it really isn't that great.
so let me get this straight, i have to buy these stupid amiibo's to unlock content that's already on the disc? Yeah great job nintendo /s
Maybe Capcom's management are passing some ideas to the Nintendo heads... Next up, gradually declining quality, how to add the words Super or Ultra to a game and pretend it's completely new, and how to help your best designers become Indie developers
To answer bluntly, I keep the answer the same for the Smash Bros Amiibos... No
