I was really impressed with Xbox at E3 last year. I can't wait for this years. One more month!

Septic948d ago

The format was good but had too much reliance on CGI.

This year we should see Scalebound, Crackdown and Phantom Dust gameplay. If you had told me last year that the things we would be looking forward to this year would be gameplay of the reveals last year, I would be disappointed.

So just the above won't be enough. Newer games need to be shown and something great from Rare. Last year we got that Conker teaser for Project Spark and that felt like a slap in the face really.

Can't believe its so close though aaah. Super excited as always (even though I was let down overall). Here's hoping no leaks this time to put a damper on the event.

I doubt phantom dust will be there. The problems in development and studio closure probably mean the game is on hold. Especially since they haven't announced a new studio working on it.

@Ausbo

No I don't think so. A new team is actually working on it and apparently development is ongoing. The change might not bode well for the game but development has been stated to continue.

So glad that MS is focusing so heavily on First-Party content. Also, that final paragraph gets me so pumped for the next few months worth of announcements!

"This year, we have an amazing games lineup to share (who knew it’d be so hard to pack all of our exclusive E3 premieres into an hour and a half?), so we’re saving a lot of exciting reveals for gamescom in August. It’s already shaping up to be a great year."

Great time to be an Xbox fan! Knock it out of the park Phil!

I loved that part too. 1st party is the way to go&im glad Phil realises this. Rare, Lift,Twisted pixel, Lionhead, Pressplay, Decisive games,Lxp etc all have unannounced games. Its known that Rare and Lionhead have multiple titles in development and im sure playground will be working on a new game too (pgr?forza rally?midtown madness?rallisport?banjoe/conk er kart racing?)Lol. We might get two new game announcemments from Rare.one will be at e3 and the other at gamescom.I'm guessing Playground&Lionhead will also save their announcements for gamescom. MS is known to work with a lot of 2nd party studios on exclusive ips so i expect to see a lot of exclusive content at their event.its time MS started spending those dollars on their own studios and exclusive ips.I hope they bring their best to this event cos i'm ready to be blown away.

Their press conference is only an hour?

OpieWinston948d ago

"who knew it’d be so hard to pack all of our exclusive E3 premieres into an hour and a half?"

Reading's hard.

Their daily live shows are an hour.

Transistor948d ago

Sorry, I read it as their live show is an hour. An hour an a half is good and what I expected.

AngelicIceDiamond948d ago

Surprised. MS not only announced their E3 plans but also Gamescom.

A super confident MS is a good MS.

Septic948d ago

Well Microsoft are actually at Gamescom this year and they say this:

"This year, we have an amazing games lineup to share (who knew it’d be so hard to pack all of our exclusive E3 premieres into an hour and a half?) so we’re saving a lot of exciting reveals for gamescom in August."

Sounds good no? :)

Transistor948d ago

Yeah, I want to see if they are going to step it up for Gamescom with Sony not having a conference there.
