Hmmmm so sony has marketing for assassin's creed again??

Transistor1282d ago

Yes it looks that way.

Pretty funny considering the $349 Xbox One bundle and how tied it was to Microsoft.

With Sony taking the marketing rights, maybe we will no longer have the parity fiasco that was last year with AC Unty.

Remember UniSoft locking both PS4 and X1 at 900p in order "to avoid all the debates and stuff"?

Now, without MS having the marketing rights, Ubisoft can express themselves freely and hence utilising the entire power of the PS4.

What are you talking about lol. Just this last Assassins creed unity was for Xbox marketing. What you mean again?

Transistor1282d ago (Edited 1282d ago )

Yeah, but it was pretty tied to Xbox One considering you got 2 Assassin's Creed games in the bundle.

It's just kind of funny.

Blackleg-sanji1282d ago

I was under the impression sony had most other assassin's creed games no need to be rude

Captain_TomAN941281d ago

With the exception of Unity, PlayStation has been heavily associated with AC since ACII. I found it insane actually that Unity was branded Xbox when Sony had Ezio in fricking PS: All Stars!

Transistor1282d ago

Looks like Assassin's Creed is also being co-marketed by PlayStation this year.

Last year

This year

On topic, thats a really nice PS4

GreetingsfromCanada1282d ago

I like how it covers the entire PS4 instead of just adding the insignia

GreetingsfromCanada1282d ago

So Sony has a marketing deal with Ubisoft and EA this year.

GreetingsfromCanada1282d ago

Sony chose the right year to buy marketing rights.

They are moving towards marketing multi platform games and releasing less AAA exclusives this generation, as Yoshida himself said they'd be moving away from AAA exclusives last year

So it makes sense they are trying to pick up as many marketing deals as possible instead.

As to call of duty that you are implying transistor, that has yet to be confirmed.

Majin-vegeta1281d ago

*as Yoshida himself said they'd be moving away from AAA exclusives last year

Oh you mean the comment journalists took out of context and made it look like he was only talking about the PS4 when he was talking about the industry in general?

*"We’ve been saying that the number of AAAs might be getting smaller because the cost of development for AAAs is getting higher,” he said. “But there are so many indie games and great games coming out almost every week or every other week. We’re seeing it on PS4. I hope you’re seeing it as well.”
