Back in 2014, publisher Ubisoft had made a $28 million investment in their Quebec City development studio. Said developer had been helping Ubisoft Montreal on Assassin’s Creed titles up until AC III, in addition to various downloadable packages.
Does it matter if it was teased or not in 2014? It's not like the franchise comes out with a new installment every 2-3 years. Anyone could see an AC game coming a mile away. Let me predict the future: There will be another one in fall 2016, and another one in fall 2017. Any Ubisoft game feels generic nowdays. No original bone in their body. I don't sense any passion for their games anymore. Not to mention, they have exhausted the open world genre.
I'm going to write on article about how it was teased back in 2012, because you're in London in the beginning of AC3. Not srs.
