The '90s had some terrible commercials, like for real. They often times had really cheesy or bad jingles, just like this new commercial for Splatoon.
LOL you're such haters!
I don't really see the problem with the NA commercial. It seems like a normal kids commercial with a little retro feel to it and the Japanese one seems not so much like a Japanese commercial because they are usually much weirder. Both of them kinda suck but not as bad as some of the other Nintendo commercials with the fakest looking familys I've ever seen.
I don't think they unintentionally did this they purposely made a ridiculous 90s commercial to capture its game point. I don't understand the problem with the article or comments about it being 90s.
The commercial made me cringe, and I grew up in the 90's!XD Great game, but I sincerely wish they had used the Japanese commercial instead of...whatever this is...XD
I'm just gonna leave this here... https://www.youtube.com/wat...
You can get dlc so every time you switch between squid and inkling they say "YOU'RE A SQUID/KID NOW"
No, Concertoine! Stop! Do NOT give Nintendo any ideas!X_X XD
Not even squidding. In fact, nintendo should make people pay to turn off the voices. That guarrantees an annual profit.
You mean best. The ad is great. Seriously love the 90's vibe
The japanese commercial is way better. Although if you ask me the worst part of the 90's was Blink 182 *dodges brick*
This looks like a ton of fun regardless of how good or bad the commercial is.
Please terrible and cheesy is what made the 80s and 90s amazing. You can go back to bed if you don't understand that, you also need to have lived it.
It blow's this one out of the water. https://www.youtube.com/wat... "You're a kid now, you're a squid now, you're a kid now. Don't get s.i.d.s. now, god forbid now, you're a kid now."
Lol sometimes I hear splatfapfapfapfapfapfapfapspla toon At the end of these commercials.
All I'm seeing from this commercial are empty maps and the Kids Next Door cartoon. That song, cringe.
Those weren't the WORST things from the 90s, though some of them could be pretty bad.
