The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt review | Trusted Reviews

TR:
With the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red’s saga has grown into something magnificent. It’s a game of truly epic scale that still displays an eye for every detail. It’s one that sees its hero, Geralt the Witcher, fully transformed from the sword-swinging Mr Loverman of the first Witcher into a mature, reflective hero, and one where story, systems, art, music, action and lore all seem to mesh together into one dazzling whole. It’s the best fantasy RPG of its type since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and sets a new benchmark for the genre. To be honest, that’s all you really need to know.

Man Tuesday is going to suck for me, I had an Amazon giftcard left over and ordered from Amazon. UPS typically does not come around till 5pm...so while everyone has preloaded and playing at midnight or picked up their copy early Tuesday morning, I will be at work day dreaming to get home and wait for UPS

It's good to see high quality AAA games making a return with Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 and many more still to come this year, 2014 was the worst year in gaming history in my opinion, nothing but overhyped disappointments, delays, broken games, unnecessary remasters, cross-gen games and Ubisoft shitting out their mouths.

Let us not speak of 2014! Worst year in gaming, atleast in my 26 years of gaming!

I don't think 2014 was really that bad...

I had plenty of fun with Alien Isolation, South Park, Shovel Knight and Divinity Original Sin.

I'm really looking forward to doing screenshots of this game. I can imagine how beautiful some of them will turn out with all that wonderful landscape to explore.
