When is our Witcher 3 review coming? -PC Gamer

Today, the review embargo for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt lifted. There will be reviews out there in the untamed wilds of the Internet. You can read them! But none of those reviews will be of the PC version.

The story is too old to be commented.

Idk why people aren't reviewing best version where all the original fans will be playing.

im an "original" fan and will be playing on ps4, u mad brah?

btw dont want to rub it in your face but most of the total sales will also be on ps4.

Why would i be mad if you chose to play a lesser experience. That only affects you not me lol.

BTW don't want to rub it in your face but most of the total sales will play it at 30 fps mid settings on ps4.

here's an excerpt from an article answering that very question (from pc gamer):
"Today, the review embargo for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt lifted. There will be reviews out there in the untamed wilds of the Internet. You can read them! But none of those reviews will be of the PC version. While review copies of The Witcher 3 were sent out for the PlayStation 4 more than a week ago, PC code is still missing in action, despite being pre-loadable on Steam. Bandai Namco tells us that this is because a big day-one patch hasn't been finalised on PC in time for today's review embargo, but will be ready for worldwide release next Tuesday.

Until we have a chance to dig into The Witcher 3’s vast open world, we can’t say exactly when our review will be coming."

hope that helps. it does seem odd that the ps4 version IS available and it's patch hasn't been finished either (and won't be available until next Tuesday) but the pc version can't be played without the patch??? I'm no "tech-head" but it's a head-scratcher as to why the pc version isn't being reviewed "as is" like the ps4 version.

They obviously did it to avoid comparisons between PCs and Consoles.
