I’m getting the feeling that we’re inundated with Assassin’s Creed games. As much as I love them (well, the majority of them), even I know that too much of one thing is never a good thing. It’s very easy to dismiss Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China for that reason and a few others, such as the fact that it was part of a Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Unity that was canned due to the problems at the game’s launch. It’s also a spin-off game that strays away from the main format of the core games. Like the Altair’s early spin-offs for the DS, ACC: China is a 2D stealth platformer. Nearly everything about this game spells disaster, especially for someone like me who despises both platforming and stealth. That said, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is one of the best Assassin’s Creed games I’ve ever played.
