Vice: You might've noticed that games went a bit wrong in 2014. Seems so long ago, now, that the hottest topics of forum discussion were suspect frame rates and the secrets of Shadow of the Colossus. That was before the tidal wave of shit that was Gamergate swallowed most rational conversation, smashing hobbyist bloggers and full-time critics, hardcore players and casual participants alike into a chorus of cacophonous cackling over issues that, for the most part, had fuck all to do with games.
