Majesco has picked up Artoon's latest title, Away: Shuffle Dungeon, and it's looking like a nice twist on dungeon crawlers. It's an action RPG where players delve into caverns that are constantly in motion. The action is spread across the two screens of the Nintendo DS, and each level of a dungeon has several screens. Instead of moving from room to room, the screens will shift from side to side depending on different circumstances.
Sometimes there will be a timer that counts down to a shift. Or, crossing from the bottom screen to the top might cause the bottom half to be shuffled. Each dungeon comes with its own rule set. But the progression isn't random -- you are being propelled towards a stairway that will lead to the next level.
