Well considering we've seen a lot of trailers, marketing stuff and people have played Ground Zeroes I'm sorry but I don't think Kiefer is good. Seems like his heart isn't into it at all.

We all got different opinions. But we should just wait for TPP and then judge his work. He doesn't talk much in the trailers we have seen so far or in Ground Zeroes.

But for the amount of Kiefer has voiced Big Boss, well I really like his voice :). I'm confident he does a great job as BB, but we'll truly see in 4 months and shouldn't crush his VA before see the whole story imo.

It's easier for me to accept Kiefer though, because I like them both (David and Kiefer) so I'm hyper excited to see his performance ^^.

Kiefer is not welcome. Hayter is Young Big Boss, and Richard Doyle is Old Big Boss. Kiefer is an overrated, half-decent actor without interest or passion for Metal Gear and is why I will be hoping for a Japanese audio option. MGS going more open world and action emphasised is even less a big deal than Kiefer's disgrace. I am glad Kojima is gone if he ruins the series like this. He went on record saying he is open to altering canon, too. All these decisions boggle the mind. His series is bigger than he is, when an artist creates then his art takes on a life of its own, and he is murdering it.

No Kiefer.

Did you not read the article?. Everyone who has been working with him on MGSV has said how passionate he is and just an all around great guy to work with. I and many others think he sounds incredible as Big Boss and is the perfect actor to play him. Hayter should never have been used to play BB in the first place because it makes no sense for him to sound identical to Solid Snake. None of the other clones sounded like him either. Hayter will most likely be in the game playing SS anyways. Saying Kiefer is not welcome and throwing this little temper tantrum makes you look like an entitled brat.

-Foxtrot1260d ago

If you work with someone like him of course you are going to say positive things. You come off like a nice guy and you help sell the game.

"makes no sense for him to sound identical to Solid Snake"

He's a clone...how does it not make sense.

"makes you look like an entitled brat"

What? Because people don't agree with your "overpraise" of Kiefer. Opinions man.

KryptoniteTail1260d ago

People just say s***. No way Kiefer gives a f***.

Big Boss looked and thus sounded like Solid. The others don't look like him. Older Big Boss after aging and smoking can be the Doyle version. Just randomly putting some hack Hollywood loser in for hype is stupid.

I may sound like a brat but you sound like a mindlessly loyal sheep.

TheOneWhoIsTornApart1260d ago

@-Foxtrot:Solid isn't an exact clone of BB buddy and neither is Liquid and they don't sound alike either. Solidus was the most perfect clone of BB and he didn't sound like him either so your "He's a clone...how does it not make sense" statement falls apart. Also I never overpraised Kiefer at all so I don't know where you are getting that.

@Kryptonite Tail: Solid didn't look identical to BB he looked more like a son with a strong resemblance as did Liquid. Seeing that they clearly aren't identical to BB there is absolutely no reason that they would sound alike.

Kojima is ruining MGS because of a voice actor? Are you a MGS fan or a Hayter fan?

Keifer is super much better for big boss than hayter was, hayter is ssnake.

-Foxtrot1260d ago (Edited 1260d ago )

You can't beat Richard Doyle

EDIT @Below

With how much Big Boss smokes, his voice is gruff enough that an older person could play him.

Get rid of the Japanese voice actor with one who is good enough to the motion capturing and then get Richard to do voice work.

TheOneWhoIsTornApart1260d ago

Dude Richard Doyle is 70 years old. He is far too old to play Big Boss in the 1980's.
