Terrorist, cartoon stereotype, evil oppressive dictator.

I really hate how people accuse the whole middle eastern people of being terrorist where only a hand full of people were involved.. terrorism has been caused by a lot of different countries and races but we dont blame them because a terrorist doesnt belong to any race or nation. Interesting article

I'm personally offended by the thoughts of Americans thinking of everyone in the middle east as a terrorist since I'm an ESL teacher, and at most of my students are from Saudi Arabia. When I think about my students whom I care for, and the perceptions of many Americans have towards them, it makes me both sad and angry.

How do you feel about American volunteers trying to help people being kidnapped, tortured, killed, ect... Just because they are American?

It goes both ways and each side should be equally offended when stereotyped in a demeaning manner but they shouldn't allow it to turn into violent acts against innocent people.

I agree. It goes both ways. Journalists and volunteers are not themselves the countries they hail from.
