Clipping Error discuss why you should care about Watch Dogs 2, in light of it being leaked via a Ubisoft employee's CV.
https://www.youtube.com/wat... Unless they fix everything that is listed in this video, then i am not interested.
"didn't care much for it then, don't give a 4uck about 2 even more so with its crappy reviews on 1"
It was pretty boring tbh lol . A big city with nothing to do
Like all GTA games. But kinda the opposite which is boring and too much to do.
I dont care for Watchdogs 2. I got led down the garden path with Watchdogs. Fool me once shame on you... fool me twice shame on me...
"Watch Dogs 2 is going to be different, because Ubisoft want to give us something good this time around." Yah, if they got away with it the first time, they'll try it again. Just look at the crap fest that was AC Unity, and it still sold / reviewers still gave it good scores... Fell for the first Watchdogs, the second will be when it goes at least half price, if at all.
Considering the backlash they got over every game they released last year being crap, I'd say it is likely they won't do what you claim. Though I can understand the cynicism; Ubisoft hasn't been among the smartest companies for a while now.
Meant to agree sorry
You know what killed this game for me? It wasn't the useless hacking of NPCs. It wasnt the repetition of the tasks. It wasn't the lame one-button now I'm looking through a camera...... It was the f#cking steam pipes in the road. Hackable steam pipes that you could hack to explode behind you and off any followers. Steam pipes. Where is the steam being piped to? Are there re-steaming-charge stations at every few lengths of steam pipe, to reheat the steam? I mean its underground so sure you need to insulate the steam pipe, but that only goes so far. Do houses in Chicago get plumbed with water as well as steam? Tea Kettle sales in Chicago have taken a dismal dive now that every house and home is fully equipped with steam. So thats ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is being able TO HACK A STEAM PIPE THAT IS UNDERGROUND AT A MOMENTS NOTICE IN ORDER FOR IT TO EXPLODE IN A SPOT WITHIN A HALF A METER. Steam Pipe hacking. Killed the game for me.
You know what killed skyrim for me?....dragons, i mean c'mon! Dragons dont exsist!. Mate i suggest you never play a videogame again if you cant suspend your disbelief....its a fantasy world, it kind of requires it.
A dragon would look at a steam pipe and say "Why don't they just use a tea kettle? " There's suspension of belief and there's suspension of smart.
Can they give it a story and characters that dont bore me to tears this time?
Cuz assassin's creed 2 was way better than assassin's creed 1.
Horrible physics, boring protagonist, hidden PC features, poor optimization and a boring, bland world made this game a huge let down. You dont have to be photo realistic but have an art style and dynamic events to give the city some life. As soon as I beat it I immediately uninstalled it.
You beat it? I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to get tht far......
Yep same here, I just couldn't play past the first 5-6 hrs. It just wasn't engaging on any level really.
I thought it was an ok game. Not great or anything. Not that I'm big on online MP but the way the online MP part worked surprised me. It had a decent enough seemless online component. The only thing I'd want Rockstar to learn from Watch Dogs is how to do online where it doesn't take a lifetime to load.
I am not the biggest fan of Watch Dogs. But if they can improve the driving (also allow shooting and driving), story, vigilante system and characters I wouldn't against playing a sequel.
You can't drive a car, shooting a gun, and holding a smart phone.
lol! Never thought about that! Can't argue with that logic!
Nope!! sorry. Didn't like Watchdogs one bit even though I was pretty hype for but Ubisoft man!!!
I liked Watched dogs. It had the best shooting mechanics and Stealth of any open world game I've played. Nice to play an open world with a proper cover system. GTA's cover , shooting and ridiculous stealth (I mean whats with that crouch) are terrible despite it being a great game. I dont really care about any graphic downgrade, I played it on console so I knew it wasnt going to look like the reveal anyway. I'd love to see them improve the driving model and work on the missions, but I had a great time with part 1 and look forward to a sequel. Just dont make it an annual franchise alright Ubi.
Gotta agree. Had it not had the graphics "downgrade" and all of the hoopla surrounding, I highly doubt it would have gotten such flack. It's not a GREAT game, but it was good enough...especially for the first of a franchise. I absolutely LOVED the shooting and stealth. I also enjoyed the ability to hack cameras while tackling those hideouts. It gave you multiple ways to approach a pretty standard scenario.
WD was worth the time to play it for me. If they step up their game, improve on everything, they just may have a killer app on their hands, and I for one, will buy it.
You should care because sequels tend to fix what they did wrong the first time.
Watch_Dogs wasn't terrible. It had numerous flaws, but I enjoyed the overall game. Ubi knows what they did wrong, I hope. Can they fix it? That's another question.
Hearing some of the people here, you'd believe that Watch Dogs scored like a 4/10 instead of it's rather good 7s and 8s.
I was disappointed on the first game, honestly.
I'm not gonna buy Watch Dogs 2 til I'm able to get the game for 20 bucks, I bought the Original WD day one and is was one of the worst 65 bucks I ever spend
21 COMMENTS. We don't.
I played it after GTA5 and what a quality difference that was.
I care because WatchDogs was a great game. I had a blast with it. The open world of Chicago was very well done.
Watch Dogs was good but I felt it was over hyped like most games now a days.
The downgrade killed it for me. They have none of my trust.
