CD Projekt RED must feel very confident, because the company announced that reviews of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released a week before the release of the game.
CD Projekt Red is just hitting all the right buttons. <3 CDPR!
Yep, CDPR have really demonstrated that they can compete with the likes of Rockstar, Bethesda and Bioware in terms of game ambition and quality. Ubisoft take note - this is how you show confidence in a solid launch of a game. From what we've seen and heard from those that have had hands-on time, this game is tracking to beat Skyrim. So I'm guess 94+ metacritic score. I just hope the pretentious-elitist review sites don't start trolling with their reviews.
No doubt their confidence is well-placed. Looking forward to digging in to this sumbitch!
Wrong thread. How do you delete?
Now, this is a developer I can support!
93 or above metacritic, calling it now!
So basically matching or beating the top two current gen exclusives ... Super Mario 3D World and Bloodborne. Is that why you picked 93 specifically?
Well even if it's above a 93 I wouldn't be mad about it since I can still play fhs game on my system. Heck the better the game is the better it will be for me.
If Dragon Age Inquisition got a 89 with all it's flaws and The Witcher 2 a 88, I'm sure The Witcher 3 will have at least 90+. I'm pretty sure it can go as high as 94-96.
My gaming senses tell me this game will be amazing. What has me most excited is the story. Nothing means more to me than a good story in a game, and from the looks of the combat, it seems each battle will be awesome.
that shows how much confidence they have in their game :D this might turn out to be a truly masterpiece ^_^
This is confidence. These guys are awesome
Must avoid all reviews before playing. I dont mind the review numbers but will not read any of them. dont want to ruin anything
Agreed. I've got my pre-order in regardless of the reviews anyway.
same here! got my preorder for both game and special edition strategy guide ready to go( didnt need it but was a fanstastic price i couldnt pass up. plus i wanted the Grimoire)
Naughty gods, From software and CDPR are the best developers out there now.
These guys remind me of old Blizzard, taking their time and creating quality for the fans, hopefully they dont partner with or get bought by a larger entity, as this will likey ruin them.
A good sign. An embargo often means the dev has something to hide but its often under banner of 'not wanting poeple to give out spoilers', when it reality its them not wanting cancellation of pre-orders till the game has actually arrived. A good game will generate its own word of mouth so early reviews show confidence. Very excited.
They've always been the most fan-friendly game company. Not believing in paid dlc and wanting gamers to get their money's worth. What other $60 game comes with a soundtrack disc, a map and a thick book? The witcher 2 did, and the witcher 3 will. I was suprised to see a season pass for it, but it's normal price. Their reasoning; psn/xbl doesn't allow dlc to be totally free, and they are still working on the dlc levels. So when they finish they are forced to charge. I love these guys, by far the best when it comes to respect of fans.
Can't wait for this game. Time for talk is done let's get on with it. With the game going gold last week i was hoping to get some news that the game release would be moved up. I know it's to good to be true but i can dream can't i.
