During a livestreamed Q&A from Build 2015, Microsoft Universal Windows Platform Program Managers Brent Rector and Peter Torr explained how the new policies will affect supported devices, including the Xbox One.
Yes Go to the build website and you can watch the stream
I want Hololens. It's very cool for non gaming applications.
the cad and design apps for this thing is going to be wild! it fits it like a ring
good grief , IF it works like that , it will be awesome and I MUST HAVE IT!!!......IF , it works like that...
pretty crazy demo.. im with everyone else on this.. IF it works, wow...
Remember Project Natal ;-)
Every one does. It's in the Guinness book is world records for fastest selling electronic device, how could anyone forget?
I expect that the article will be correct about "we’ll see the number of supported apps explode". "Universal" Intelligence is something the world needs much more than being forced into buying multiple apps for multiple devices OR only one kind of service (such as Spotify or Vue) per device (such as PS4) or else be forced into buying more devices. Sony is instead targeted on segmenting the market without any hope of taking the place of what Microsoft devices can "Universally" do, thus forcing people, who want to play Sony games, to own multiple devices. Sony made a mistake not supporting "Ms", such as with "Ms+SONy handheld" with Windows 10 "Ms" (Universal) Windows Apps for their games... Sony could have made the best such device though instead they're purs(u)ing obsolesces by trying to take the place of "Ms", AKA obviously and inevitably fLAMER (get it, "purs(u)ing"!?!). Related is that Microsoft's "Continuum" feature works in combination with "Universal" Windows Apps on Windows 10 phones where that users can move to larger KVM devices while the phone still operates as usual on its own display... that same functionality will work when FULL Windows 10 runs on phones in the not too distant future. Everything else on the market not supporting that future might as well be labeled junk stock. Here's a video explaining "Continuum" on phones, https://www.youtube.com/wat... @ilikepizza, based on TruthInsider's previous anti-"Ms" comments, I think he's referring to Milo. @TruthInsider, exactly, let's never forget that Sony fans love to mention how disappointed they think everyone should be that Microsoft is not releasing Milo, a virtual little boy to emotionally play with, while ignoring how much better Cortana is at delivering on what is really promising (as we cross the "Threshold", the codename for Windows 10). Related to that theme, I should have realized Sony fans' DISposition before I lost a bubble after commenting about what I think of Omega Quintet, even though I think I am justified being that the sign for Omega is a toilet seat (one of God's many symbolic jokes that symbolize evil being about a toilet, AKA "pit stop"). If I had to guess, I think more Sony fans than Ms fans love the idea of "bad ass" and saying "sick" is excellent... somewhere along the way they're taught that BACKWARDS is good, and THAT is why I think we'll continue to see anti-"Ms" as Microsoft keeps bringing it for WideSpread Superior Intelligence... you're BACKWARDS if you think that is doggy style rather than SPREAD "EAGLE". Interestingly, the "Pheasant" is regarded as the national bird of Japan, "FACT!". The rejecting of "Ms" is always symbolically fLAMER... you should stop. For example, all those who reject the "Universal" Windows App paradigm that Microsoft is building are symbolically rejecting what is the most "Universally Compatible"... such is the nature of fLAMER.
Very impressive use of AR but if I'm honest I can't see many people wanting to use it much in the real world. For a start I don't think friends and family will appreciate you walking around starring into space and waving your hands around like a lunatic rather than, you know, actually talking and interacting with them. Not to mention the bashed shins, and kicked pets/children from people not paying attention to their surrounding's. Also how many real lived in houses have nice flat featureless walls and floors for the software to lock on to. I also have doubts that the image quality will be sufficient to make watching a film expanded to fill a wall a good experience. I'd still love to try it out for myself though...
This will for sure boost XboxOne performance 200%. One developer even said it could boost XboxOne performance at least 100%. Then we have the cloud another 100% boost. Who could forget dx12 add another 100% boost to that. Well XboxOne lock to be the super computer Microsoft always promised. 4k baby, here we come.
Dafuq are you on. where are these articles of people saying all these increases. Stop being such an ignorant troll, I love my xbox but damn I dont believe there will be such an increase in power. Im more looking forward to dev being able to easily port pc games to my XB1
10000% boost total Xbox will make legs for itself and take over the world!
I'm liking what I see so far. E3 is going to be really interesting and fun this year.
