As expected, EU widens antitrust probe of Intel

The EU has indeed filed additional charges against Intel, and the governmental organization isn't pulling any punches. In its statement, the EU confirmed that it has sent a supplementary Statement of Objections (SSO) to Intel as of today. That statement "reinforces the Commission's preliminary view...that Intel has infringed EC Treaty rules on abuse of a dominant position... with the aim of excluding its main rival, AMD."

Although i use their products , Intel and Microsoft have a bad reputation in the way they conduct business

and it's nice to see them get pinched every now and then
