Why Twilight Princess Should Come To The Wii U

NE: "A recent rumor came out thanks to an interesting StreetPass that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may be coming to the New Nintendo 3DS. This was immediately proven false. Even so, the idea of a Twilight Princess remake is a particularly interesting one; it might allow Nintendo to smooth out some of the rough edges of the game like they have for their other recent Zelda remakes, notably Majora’s Mask and Wind Waker. Still, while a New 3DS version would be great for several reasons – it would allow Twilight Princess to be portable for the first time and thus possibly reach a new audience and it would increase the New 3DS’ value – I can’t help but think how important a Twilight Princess Wii U remake might be for both the game and the console."

A remake of this game would be amazing on Wii U. Just like WWHD.

At this point in time, I would probably just prefer to see them remake it in HD for Nintendo's next console, instead of releasing it at the end of the WiiU's life-cycle...

The Wii U is only into its third year.
It's got at least 2 more to go.

Thank god it was fake, I'd rather have Twilight Princess HD.

Seriously, NO MORE REMAKES!!! I want a new Zelda and am getting sick of all these damn remakes! This is simply another lazy quick cash money grab.

Enough is enough and some of you gamers need to stop supporting this crap! This is becoming a huge trend this generation. We never had this garbage before.

Same goes for movies, they run outta ideas so heres another remake!

Granted, there is a massive population of movie - goers that had not been alive for the first Robocop.

There is a slight chance of a generation who have never played Twilight Princess.

Feel free to shoo them of your lawn though;)

Feel free to keep on trolling me wherever I go marloc. Get a life kid!

I have no problem with remakes as long as developers also make new games. And guess what, Nintendo makes plenty of those, so it's OK in my book. It gives a chance to people that didn't play it the first time around, or don't have it anymore, or want to re experience it with improved graphics.

So, I'll support "this crap" if the remade game in question interests me. Simple as that.

Here is the thing about HD remakes ... the story is set, the game mechanics are set, the game world are set, the NPCs are set, the boss/enemy AI/design are set.

So really how much man power does it take to redo some textures and bump up the resolution?

It shouldn't be much. And if it doesn't ... then it shouldn't hurt the development of new games.

As others mentioned ... there are people that never played Twilight Princess for various reasons including new gamers.

And for people with money to kill ... and want a better looking adaption of one of their favorite Wii/Gamecube games ... why not.

you want it then demand Nintendo to release the Zelda Tech Demo which is basically TP in HD

Loadedklip1065d ago

If Twilight Princess had those graphics .... that would be amazing.

Nintendo has been doing this new tradition of releasing a new zelda then remaking an old zelda cycle a for a few years now.

Starting with Ocarina of Time 3D. Then came Skyward Sword. Then Wind Waker HD. Then A Link Between Worlds. And finally Majora's Mask 3D. It's possible we'll see a Twilight Princess HD remake or perhaps a new Zelda game for 3DS come out near before or after the new Zelda.
