Sony Computer Entertainment released its latest PSN sales charts in Japan for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, and From Software goes back to the top with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.
That surprises me. Just more reason for more remakes of 1 year old games to flood the market.
It's not much of a shock depending on what you look for here. Bloodborne came out more than two weeks before Dark Souls SOFS on the PS4. So it's not a big deal that Bloodborne is going down in sales as the newly released game comes out. But, if you're looking at it in terms of a remake of a last gen game selling that well, then maybe that would be more of the surprise.
THey need to patch Bloodborne performance if they want people to Keep playing it,online the with only 2 players the framerate its most of the time below the 20fps really who wants to play like this?!Not me and i hope the patch thats incoming fix the performance issues because other way i will be dumping this game!Dark Souls 2 on the Ps4 its so smooth online and off-line its just a better enjoyment than Bloodborne in my view.Performance over gaphics any day for me!
scholar is a good game and well worth the price of admission, and i bought it day 1 on ps3!
Dark Souls II deserves all the hype it can get, no matter where it is. Guess being a cross-gen title sure helped a lot more than being an exclusive, but still, a PS4-only, tough-as-nails cult game getting on the top ten at all really is awesome.
Should see the Japanese PC sales low the ps4 out of the water. Japan is abandoning consoles for Pcs. The amount of new companies that make pure gaming pcs is increasing every day in Japan. I didnt pre order Dark souls 2 in Japan for Pc so I had to wait for a re print with the soundtracks and maps. Japan is still selling physical copies of PC games. If there were any real journalists in gaming they would be reporting this. http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/... this is the top selling items for amazon console gaming. See the xbox controller.. that is being bought for PC gaming.
Sure mate. I talked with a Bandai Namco Producer just last week and I told him that I was of the impression that the PC gaming market was expanding in Japan. He laughed in my face. I'm not even kidding or exaggerating.
Sure you did. You probably talk to Walt Disney and Adolf Hitler too...
No, just with several developers. It happens to be my job.
dominate is not the word that should be used, 20k+ is nothing compared to the 250k+ on last gens.
Dualshockers hyperbole. Sometimes it helps get hits; sometimes it doesn't. I suppose it's a good number for Japan considering the userbase though.
