Update the character/enemy models so it looks like any of the HD Steam mods... https://www.youtube.com/wat...
It looks really weird in the mod version though. And it all just looks out of place. Some stages it just looks too much like paper cut-outs.
That's true but I think the weirdness is because it's unofficial content. An official Square-made upgrade would hopefully look better.
They need to make it a complete overhaul to get me to buy it.
Just have the mod content like the HD models and redone soundtrack. Why can't a publisher save a ton of money and time and just pay the modder to have work done at porting their mod over or pay for the resources already made and just adjust them for the game.
Scrap this and do an actual remake
Not something based on the current graphics overall focus they seem to have, but rather a remake that plays like a game instead of a movie with busy segments. Something like Lost Ark: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
That would be the worst decision ever.
I just hope that after they cash in with this game they bring regular psone classics to ps4
Redo all the character and enemy models. Keep the same backgrounds. Quick and easy remaster. Nobody will be hyped for another untouched ff7 rerelease. Nobody cares square.
after playing ff record keepers. im convinced that square enix should remake all their games into 2d topdown versions. well atleast vii anyway, it looks fugly compared to pixelart.
