Nintendo reacquires NES controller design trademark

The NES controller is one of the most iconic controllers in gaming, with many of the modern controllers we use today being derived from that original base design. It’s been more than 30 years since that specific controller has been relevant, but that hasn’t stopped Nintendo from reacquiring the trademark for its design.

This will probably be something like a controller shell you can snap around/over your phone for mobile games. But if they're actually thinking about bringing some of their legacy hardware I will be ecstatic.
