How to Beat the Shadows of Yharnam in Bloodborne

Being that the Shadows of Yharnam become progressively more powerful over a relatively short amount of time, you’re going to want to ensure that you are as aggressive as humanly possible, as this is the only way to not get overwhelmed by the most unique boss(es) to this point.

I don't understand some gamers nowadays. What is the point of this?. If they beat a game to0 fast then they also complain.

May be its just me being an old time gamer but I honestly do not understand the point of gaming if I am just to sit though it with out any challenge when things are just handed to you.

@welkincole Not sure what that has to do with this guide on how to beat a boss, but I do agree that a challenge is good for any game, hence bloodborne being kickass.

I assume he means all the "How To"s that have already been showing up. Play the game normally with no extra info the first time through, I say, but to each his own.

Yeah to each their own.

I just think that gameing and gamers in general have become too casual in the sense that everything is handed to them i.e the difficulty factor is more or less a non factor now days. Hardcore gaming has changed in this sense.

I remember a time when clocking a game was like a badge of honor. Nowadays anyone literally can clock any game out there even if they spend a little time with it. Clocking any game really means nothing anymore.

There was a time when certain games you have to master before you can clock them. Not anymore.

I have seen so many of these guides for Bloodbourne prop up lately. They exist because there is a demand for it.

One of the great thing about the souls series is its a difficult game in this day and age. People buy it because of this mostly then they resort to guides to beat it?. It does not make any sense to me.

It also reflects the fact that gamers have become standard consumers of games where they just want to use it then move to the next. It becomes less of an experience and appreciation of the games these creators made and they lose out on it.

How to beat a boss. Where is the satisfaction you get from playing and beating a boss if someone have already shown you how?. It does not make sense to me.

It's not the guide itself but for those that uses it I don't really understand.

Guides exist to make these crazy games more accessible to less seasoned gamers. Nobody is forcing you to read them, but if it makes great games like this more accessible, and thus raise the sales and encourage devs to make more, then I'm okay with it.

I destroyed the Shadows on my first try which was a nice change as every other boss killed me at least once, usually multiple times. I stumbled upon them and was really taken by surprise.

Really no guide needed for these guys. Keeps mobile, take out the fireball guy, then take one of the meelee guys, then the final one. Stay aggressive and use speedy attacks if you have them(I used the cane), and dash and dodge continuously.
