During a livestream on TwitCasting, 5pb. President Chiyomaru Shikura announced that the former Xbox One exclusive visual novel Chaos;Child will be released for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita
'bout time 5pb came to their senses.
Xbox fans reaction: Shrugging their shoulders If it were a ps4 exclusive making its way onto a competitors console PS fans reaction: Eat dung and burn in hell!!!!
Actually, the Xbox fans would be mocking PlayStation fans if they gained an exclusive....
are you new here? or??
This is so non-news worthy. This is a Japanese indie animie game. A game that can be played on 3DS or smart phones. I might have seen some screen shots earlier, but had no idea it was X1 exclusive. I am not bashing the game, as it may turn out to be a fun game, but there is really zero hype behind it, and I have never heard anyone mention this a game to look forward to. I think the developer would be doing themselves a huge disservice releasing this as an X1 exclusive. Should focus on portables with this one. it would fine a much more welcoming audience there. No one owns X1 in Japan.
@Bigpappy: Indie? 5bp./Mages. is a rather big company that works on games, anime and manga. They're very popular and they're definitely not indies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... Not that being indie is bad, but you're really off here.
^ Dude I know you just want to get into the skin of Sony fans in this site but as it has already been explained. The company who is making this game is not an indie. At least lets get that right. So when you do your console war stuff. You won't look like you don't know what your talking about. ;) Just a friendly reminder. Carry on, Forum warrior! Edit: Umm... sorry no, now you are just trying to make a spin of things. Its not an indie we all know what an indie is and why they are called an indie. This is not one of them. Yes, it is Japanese only and if you know Japanese games. This ain't a one you can call an indie.
@praxx you get very upset easily; don't you? would you like a warm blanket and a plate of cookies?
Xbox fans just so used to losing their "exclusives". or having their exclusive be on PC or being timed.
Your biases are showing.
Way a troll... I don't get these kinds of comments. Why does everything have to be an arguement? Can't you just talk about the subject instead of making everything a fight for dominance? All it does is point out your fanboy loyalty, and get you less bubbles... OT this was probably a business decision, and one that to me makes sense. Glad I have something else to keep my eyes on now.
A quick look at any article proves your post wrong so why bother?
The reason they're shrugging is because this isn't most Xbox gamer's type of game...
So what nameshamegame? You got nothing better in life to do than be bitter in every xbox story?
I am honestly shruggin my shoulders as this is the first time i've even heard of this game but who cares.
You're right. They were freaking out about the trademark of BB yesterday.
What the heck is this?
@Abrial Kinda shows what a lot of Xbox fans think of these niche anime games on their system when one says 5pb is an indie company, and others not caring one bit because they never once heard of it. For those that don't know, 5pb is one of the bigger Japanese publishers, but their games don't get localized a lot, and it's usually Atlus or NISA that picks them up for NA/EU release. They have a ton of popular anime franchises that they regularly make games for. I personally found it facepalm material that 5pb would go exclusive with a few of their games on the X1. They had to know their fan base was going to be elsewhere. That's why MS has such a hard time in Japan. People know that the games that appeal to the majority of Japanese gamers are eventually going to make it onto another system, and be pretty sparse on the X1 itself.
Xbox fans don't care about this!!! This isn't even big news. Who even knew what that crap was? Any PS fan thinking this is big news must still believe in the Easter bunny and wears a onesy
WCxAchlemist.....bro I read your post and vomited, that was some YouTube level trolling right there.
@gamenamefame You guys always talk about FF14, street fighter 5, black light, ect ect when you talk about exclusives. last I checked they are all out on PC right now
Lol you must be neq here lol you'll learn the hard wsy the legions ate going to have you for lunch You going learn today
There should be a bub down button for, 'Butthurt'.
You should get a ban for your comment PraxxtorCruel as it was obvious blatant trolling, but as you are clearly pro xbone and this is N4G Im sure you'll be just fine, they dont mind that kind of trolling here at all, do carry on.
"This is so non-news worthy. This is a Japanese indie animie game" Really, BigPappy? THAT desperate to downplay this, eh?
oh look, another fanboy trying so desperate to explain why this side's fanboy is better than the other side.
Sorry but April Fools day isn't for a few more days.
First time I even heard about the game or the Company
oh this the game i was looking for.. impressive
the thing these days with the sales of PS4 most devs cant afford not to be on Sonys platform.
There was really no hype for this anime novel when it was announced for the XB1. It's still not a big deal coming to the PS4. I think more gamers were surprised to find out OlliOlli and Shovel Knight were both coming to the XBox One, as those games were pretty well received. Most Indie type games will end up on all the platforms anyways. Just enjoy them when they are released to you platform.
It's not an indie game, so why are you talking about indie games?
@MRMagoo. I don't really consider an anime novel as a full retail game. Will this even be released in retail stores? There are other Indie games like No Man's Sky and Mighty #9 that could be considered more a retail game then this Chaos;Child crap. If they really wanted to sell copies of this game "book" they should have just released it on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan.
Now if Mages actually brought any of their games to North America this would be great.
