The Dragon Age Secret That Took Months To Find

Kotaku: Up until very recently, there was something hidden in Dragon Age: Inquisition that nobody knew about. That is, until an alleged Bioware developer leaked part of the secret to some players.

Sadly I think I got this quest without knowing it.

WeirdShroom3319d ago

So you jumped on that rock 50 times, got the quest and thought nothing of it? Hmm

Bansai3319d ago

Yeah, I smell bull*hit.

I wonder why the secret took months to find [or be leaked by Bio employer to be more specific], why because you only had to: "If you jump on those rocks [which look like normal rocks found everywhere else in the game] about fifty times, you will be given a quest".

MilkMan3319d ago

LOL, come on bro, you don't have to say you did this when we all know you didn't. LOL.
Say, I'm gonna try this now, or something like that.that. You'd have to be insane to find these regular looking rocks, in the hidden groove, jump on them 50 times (for no reason) and the compete the quest. Especially in this huge a@@ game. LMFAO!

Im not hating on you, I just think its hilarious.

So nobods was investing any time in finding secrets so Bioware just told everyone about another generic quest about gathering 10 items nobody cared about?

ramza043319d ago

So I completed this quest. After jumping on the rocks 50x and gathering the blossoms, there's a creepy voice that talks of stairs going way down and whatnot. Turns out these stairs are found in emprise du lion just west of suledin keep. You have to travel south and around through the quarry to a cave that leads u to an apparent dead end. There's a torch on the wall there and not much else but if u jump behind the rubble you'll find a wall u can walk through. Go down several flights of stairs and you'll find the chest with some gold and a unique helmet called the Ardent Blossom that gives +24 sunder on hit. The helmet is a buncha flowers lol.

do you have any confirmation on that? not that i don't believe you, it's just that place in lion has been annoying me ever since i found it.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02902d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007902d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation902d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus902d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
