GearNuke: "Episode Duscae demo gives an early look at the game's performance on PS4 and Xbox One."
The FF XV's demo has a new build everyday until the release day , they should wait a lil before jumping to conclusions. The direct feed of the final version should be more accurate.
Final Fantasy XV was developed on DirectX 11. It would be interesting if PS4 version have better game performance.
Hard to be too sure with Square Enix, I don't know how many of you recall but when the Xbox 360 screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII were first released they were actually Ps3 screenshots with 360 button's pasted on top of them.
I remember that. It made me laugh pretty hard.
"Hard to be too sure with Square Enix" We will have a tech analysis of the demo though. All that's been confirmed is that both versions are sub full HD and there's a difference in resolution between the two.
It hasn't been confirmed anything other than that it wont be at 1080p on both.
@AsheXII Keep in mind that it won't be 1080p on the demo. They're still striving to get 1080p and 30 FPS on the full game.
Yet people still disagree with your comment... If I recall correctly, they used PS3 footage in the trailers as well. It's because things were compressed with the 360 version. It's funny that XIII looked graphically better than XIII-2. (Though I really loved XIII-2 as a game better than the original.)
Sounds like the resolutions are different between the two versions. Guess we will have to wait for Digital Foundarys analysis to find out. From what's said im predicting something like 900p vs 720p.
we have to remember that these are demos at the end of the day, although they are kind of marketing a demo way too much its a demo and these builds are probably not stable considering the engine is far from fully complete.
Well that's probably true since the release of the game is pretty far away. We all know that they only did this to sell more copies of the remastered Vita game.
we should wait for the final build to do the comparisons, we dont really know if these builds are the same and optimisation maybe at different stages for these two platforms. also like to add that even when the demo gets released and we find that one version runs or looks better it maybe very different by the time it gets released.
I really hope we eventually will see this game on PC in full glory
It's not an impossibility, but it will take a while before they do that.
