Assassin's Creed Rogue PC Review | The Game Scouts

Tin Salamunic: Assassin’s Creed Rogue has restored my faith in the franchise. "Fortunately, the newly released PC version of Rogue is the series’ long awaited recovery. It brings back everything that made its predecessor, Black Flag, such a superb experience,"

You say that Rogue is the series' long awaited recovery, then you say that its predecessor Black Flag was a superb experience, implying that there was a ton of bad games between the two, when in fact there was no releases between them at all, never mind bad ones.

And in Unity's case, it released on the same day as Rogue, so there was no wait between Black Flag and Rogue except for the standard one year between all Assassin's Creed games, so it wasn't the series' long awaited recovery, at least not in the context that you said it was.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. When Unity released, gamers waited a long time for patches to make the game playable. Even after all the patches, Unity remained a mess, so I'm calling Rogue a "recovery" from all the wait and frustration. :)
