TTP:" A really interesting arcade shooter game is going to be released on the App Store next week, a game inspired by classic top down shooter games coming with a feature that will make it stand out from other similar games."
TouchArcade: Magenta Arcade [$1.99] is a game in the shoot 'em up genre, which isn't really crowded, but is neither lacking for titles. But what this game does to stand out is extremely clever: it's a shmup that exploits the way that fingers exist on and around mobile touchscreens, and makes it part of the game itself. It doesn't make the game any easier, and I have some issues with the structure of the game, but this core concept makes for a ridiculously clever game.
TTP:" Magenta Arcade is a breath of fresh air for bullet-hell shooters, thanks to some unique twists in the formula that make the game stand out from other games of the genre. Every element of the game, from the gameplay experience to the 16-bit era inspired presentation, has been developed with care, making Magenta Arcade one of the best bullet-hell shooter games released in recent times, despite the non-existent replay value."
TTP:" Magenta Arcade, the shooter game inspired by old school classics developed by Long Hat House, is now available for purchase on the App Store, just as announced last week."
