Ray Porreca of Entertainment Buddha writes: "Diving into the strange dystopia of We Happy Few, I found that Compulsion Games have a knack for creating worlds that exude a kind of visual narration and compelling atmosphere."
The concept of the game looks very interesting.
Same with the visuals, not like anything I've really seen so far.
It sort of has a BioShock feel visually, especially in regards to the character models.
Ya, looks like Bioshock all right, in more than concept. I'm sure there a little more Bio buried in there than just aesthetics. Either way, im up for a Twilight Zone type creepy game.
Wait, so the main character refuses to take Joy... but you can take Joy during gameplay? That completely defeats the whole narrative.
I am pretty sure consuming an overdose of Joy affects your gameplay.
"We Happy Few’s main character...is not addicted to the substance." The main character is not hooked on Joy, but can still take it in order to gain some gameplay benefits.
