Valve's SteamOS Now Has Over 1,000 Games On Steam

Steam for Linux launched in 2013 and has grown to 1,000 titles, a significant milestone considering that the Linux game selection is the same set of games on SteamOS. There are now 1004 games available for Linux computers and there are hundreds of expansion packs and DLCs available for those games.

There's currently 4706 video games on Steam as of 3/13/15. That more than 21% of it's library. Once it's over 50%, SteamOS will be a viable OS to use, especially if 2K, EA, Capcom, Namco, Activision and Ubisoft have cross-OS play enabled in their new games.

Netlfix is on Linux; LibreOffice is free substitute for MSOffice offline and GoogleDocs is when online; and Chrome Browser is on Linux.

Downside is iTunes is not on Linux but GooglePlay is a perfect substitute.

I'm hopeful for Linux.
