Is This PS4 Exclusive Until Dawn's Release Date?

With Uncharted 4 slipping into 2016, Bloodborne is currently the only PS4 exclusive set for 2015. That looks like it's about to change.

Oh my god yes, my summer will now be the summer of PlayStation!

DarkOcelet925d ago

While June would be excellent, October would be the perfect month for it.

But it would be great to play after Arkham Knight.

Revolver_X_925d ago

My little paper inside The Order 1886 said Summer 2015. June-August. Im hoping sooner then later.

BitbyDeath926d ago

GOTY, can't wait for this.

Jalva926d ago

GOTY? Not a hope in hell.

Still looks like a really interesting title though, and at least this game isn't trying to hide what it is, unlike The Order: 1886...

Rimeskeem926d ago (Edited 926d ago )

There have been many surprises with GOTY. I think until dawn will be very fun and exciting.

Jalva926d ago (Edited 926d ago )

Trust me man, Until Dawn will not beat titles like The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight and MGSV for GOTY...

"Best game I played this year."

As opposed to what else? Dying Light? Evolve? Wow, The Order must be a masterpiece!

And for the record, The Order tried to hide the fact that it was a really bad game with many technical limitations and shortcomings by glossing over everything and calling itself a "cinematic experience".

sparta76926d ago

What!? A great game? Nobody tried to hide anything about the order. Best game I played this year.
You should try it sometime.

On topic I hope this is true

Why are people so excited for this game? Honestly, I'm asking anyone who wants to explain. Isn't it based on the most cliche horror narrative " A group of teenagers are on spring break/camping/throwing a party etc..."

Jaqen_Hghar926d ago

It's campy and embraces that. A man thinks that's part of the appeal. A man doesn't think it'll be GotY but it should fill the Summer gap nicely with some fun.

Deadlead926d ago

@Jaqen_Hghar thanks for the info good sir, I definitely dug films like Army of Darkness and Tucker and Dale vs Evil so I'll keep my reservations but I'm certainly a bit more intrigued.

Palitera926d ago

The Cabin in the Woods game?

Hell yeah!

Can we please stop calling things GoTY before they're even out? If you're being facetious a man apologizes but he's tired of seeing these posts for games people haven't played yet.

That aside a man can't wait and loves that Sony uses the whole calendar for releases. Summer is great for outside but at night a man wants to game lots of times especially on week nights. Nothing wrong with releasing things even when it's warm out plus TLoU has proven that no matter when you release, you can find success if you deserve it (doesn't have to be 7m success to make a profit as it's likely most games won't be as good as TLoU). It seems Sony has helped the rest of the industry realize this as Batman Arkham Knight will release in June giving a man another great game to enjoy after Summer begins!

"Bloodborne is currently the only PS4 exclusive set for 2015."

Until Dawn was already shown to have a 2015 release and a summer one at that. Says so on the card included in copies of The Order: 1886

Hopefully this is the actual release date though.

I can see this game being bashed hard as well. However if its anything near as to what I've read it described as (horror based Heavy Rain) I won't care. Though from what I've seen so far it looks like cheesy fun instead lol, need more info.

Jaqen_Hghar926d ago (Edited 926d ago )

You hit the nail on the head. It's a cheesy, horror version of Heavy Rain from what a man has seen and heard.

Also to the author. A man is surprised he still has to dispel this myth but here is a list of all the PS4 exclusives yet to come and to show you how well they've supported it so far
