Boxed games prices reach new high in 2014

The average selling price of a game rose last year to over £31.

That’s according to GfK Chart-Track and Entertainment Retailers Association, which said the average selling price of a game in 2014 was £31.40, a 6.7 per cent increase on 2013’s £29.43. This is due to the increase in sales of PS4 and Xbox One titles, both of which carry a high selling prices.
