The Vita Is The Perfect All Digital Machine

Rich Drummond of Gaming Tech United writes:

"I've had a PlayStation Vita for over a year now and I can honestly say that my time with it has been great. From Freedom Wars, to Gravity Rush, and everything in between, I've been loving every second I have spent with it. All this time with it has uncovered something I've never thought I'd say. The Vita is a damn near perfect purely digital machine."

I agree. Playing the hell out of OlliOlli 2 and Borderlands 2 right now.

I totally agree. I'm LOVING OlliOlli2. It's one hell of a title!

You guys should also try out La-Mulana if you get a chance for one hell of a good time-sink, Metroidvania meets Spelunky style platformer

NinjaRichParty982d ago

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to give it a go!

I really wanted to check it out(I LOVE platformers on the Vita). Then it released with absolutely no hype at all.

YoungKingDoran982d ago

No worries RDR.
@captainexplosion It's almost criminal how no one is talking about La-Mulana. Those devs definitely deserve some support

(I know "ratings" don't give an indication on sales, but its only got 38 ratings in EU region. Just makes me a little sad is all lol)

would be if Sony went with Micro/SD Cards

NinjaRichParty982d ago

It would be nice to deal with one that isn't a proprietary one, but I'm making out fine with the 32 GB one! :)

While I agree it would make it cheaper for the consumer, it would be a lot more expensive for Sony when the format gets cracked and Vita becomes Piracy-central just like the PSP did. That's a major reason for Sony using a their own memory stick.

I imported the 64gb memory card from Japan quite early on, best gaming investment I have ever made...well, outside of a 2tb HDD for my PS4, all digital for me on both fronts :)

okay then create an update to block em.

Nintendo does it with 3DS updates. Block the browser exploit. And other methods.

Death982d ago

The Vita has already been hacked. The proprietary format did nothing to block piracy, it just makes storage more expensive.

magiciandude982d ago

Overpriced memory cards and the painfully slow content manager would have a word with anyone who thinks "the Vita is the perfect all digital machine." Let's keep it real.

Pillsbury1982d ago

I only own 1 physical game on vita which is killzone mercenaries. All the rest of my games are digital.

DualWielding982d ago

A perfect digital machine wouldn't require hyperexpensive propietary memory cards
