This game is getting awesome reviews, and it's a indie game. Looks amazing!
a huge amount of Indie games are rated higher then AAA games. Yet some people act as if Indie are of lesser quality.
All the hate that 'indies' inexplicably receive amuses me. Most of the time they are far superior games to their 'AAA' brethren. Darkest Dungeon (still in early access), Hotline Miami 2, Helldivers, Ori, and Sunless Sea are by far and away the best games I have played so far this year. You know, I don't like the term 'indie'. I would rather just say smaller titles.
The people who hate indies are the same people that thinks Michael Bays movies are the best. Those people think that high budget and huge team is the only games worth playing. The people who follow the mainstream, and are "too cool" to play indies. Hotline Miami, Braid, VVVVVV, Bastion, World of Goo, Papers Please, Faster Than Light, This War of Mine, Ori, Aquaria, Cave Story, and the list goes on. All these games are gems, and should be played by people who loves video games.
I got 8 disagrees. That is 8 people who think that Hotline Miami 2 is worse than every other game that has come out this year. Ie; Idiots.
Started out as an indie but ended up being published by Microsoft Game Studios. And you can tell, has very high production values. Awesome game.
Already bought, Now installed on the hard drive and start the adventure...cant wait:)
It's an incredible game so far... had to tear myself away from it to get to work this morning!
Just been playing this for the past 2 hours and WOW this game is amazing, if you have and Xbox one or PC you should play this.
I got a free copy coming today.
It's awesome how well the game's doing thus far – my dreams of a lovingly made Metroid-vania have come true.
