IC-Games Review: The Incredible Hulk

Andrew St.Denis writes:

''Film tie-ins, love them or loathe them you can't deny they keep on coming out and this time we have The Incredible Hulk. The first time we have seen this Marvel Comic hero on the next-gen consoles, and I guess we had better try to be nice, since we don't want to make him angry.

Well, I'm afraid that, he's not going to be overly impressed with me; because whilst there is fun to be had charging around this version of New York and climbing such iconic landmarks as the Chrysler and the Empire State Buildings, there's just not enough going for the game to make it worthwhile.

You start the game as Bruce Banner is cornered in Rio and about to be captured by the Army; enter the Hulk and let carnage ensue. The story then moves to Now York City and there as the lovable green monster (who no matter how much he grows, never loses his jeans) you get to rampage around trying to do good and battling the Enclave.'' (PS3, The Incredible Hulk, Xbox 360) 53/100
