Following 13 seconds of footage from a Unity 5 showcase video, Square Enix has a released the first full gameplay trailer for Mevius Final Fantasy.
Mobius Final Fantasy will launch for iOS and Android in Japan next Thursday, June 4, the latest issue of Famitsu confirms.
The game will be compatible with iPhone models 5 and up, and Android phones released in 2012 and beyond.
The story will be chapter-based and distributed at fixed intervals. Time-specific events and jobs are also planned to be released.
Square Enix has detailed two new characters set to appear in Mobius Final Fantasy, its upcoming Final Fantasy for smartphones due out this spring in Japan.
Square Enix gave a gameplay demonstration of Mevius Final Fantasy during a live stream this morning, mainly showcasing the game’s battle system.
During said broadcast, the company announced the game’s name would no longer be Mevius Final Fantasy, but rather Mobius Final Fantasy.
This is some next-gen quality graphical power. I'm actually surprised to see it on mobile, so grats to Square Enix.
Actually really excited about this game. Hope it's also optimized for tablets (iPad if it's iOS only) and not just iPhone.
