According to an image of the german PS Store, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and Octodad may be two of the Instant Game Collection PS Plus games of March.

I know the European store gets different games before. I haven't been paying attention recently though.

If it's true then this month is a tie against XBL games with Gold. Rayman Legends = Octodad+Legos

@rxl209 While lego games are not "Indies" they are not "AAA" titles either. TT games is not a first party dev, not even close. Lego games are fun, but they are pretty obvious 3rd party games.

Legos is a AAA game for sure. And its a great game to boot. There is a ton of content to play around with. But I have them both. As I said before, I'd take another Legos game for my nephew.

i have a feeling Sony are going to phase out the IGC as they have no reason to offer people free games. they have a monopoly on the games industry and people will pay just to play online. quote me on this if you must but don't say i didn't warn anyone.

Only Indies for PS4 will stop once they finally slow down on PS3. Can see it as soon as later this year to try increase ps4 sales. Lesser quality titles on PS3 and bigger on PS4.

I was thinking the same. Seems like since the ps4 launch they have been struggled to even announce games on time, let alone give us anything worth playing. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a ps+ package to PlayStation now and get rid of igc

Playstation is not monopolozing the console market let alone the video game industry. I like seeing playstation do this well but I'm not gonna be so blind to xbox, nintendo and pc's success to say they are monopolizing.

If they took away the IGC, that would leave the competition giving free games with Sony not giving them away. It would hurt them in the end.

I went with PS4 over Xbox One this gen because of exclusives, but I gotta admit... If MS gave away two free games a month for the cost of a subscription while Sony gave away none, it would make me consider which system I should use.

You have 32 disagrees but make a lot of sense. I agree with you. I've been thinking the same thing myself. They started offering games as a "bonus" to a service that I'm sure they weren't planning on keeping forever. I'd like them to invest more in servers and such and not worry so much about free games. I don't have all the time to game that I used to, and buy the games I want to play (that list is getting very long). None of those games have made it to the IGC yet. Ones they've given so far, I've played maybe 4 of them. I don't need all these free games laying around I'm never going to play

I get what you're saying, but that didn't stop people from buying 360 when the PS3 was having F2P internet and giving away free games for less of the price of Live. I don't think that's a very good argument. MS is trying to make money too and I'd wager if Sony stopped giving am away games, they "might" too. If not, it's really not that big of a loss IMO

Octodad was never a Plus title in any region. What you probably remember is that there were a lot of people that expected it and wanted it to be a Plus title, but when push came to shove it didn't happen.

Logically yes, but who knows. Sony shouldn't be able to use the current games past tomorrow unless they anticipated this problem and changed the deal to allow them for another week. I think what might happen is that they're removed and we get a partial update or Sony removes the problem by substituting one title for another and tries to make the problem title a later one.

There are three things I think might have happened.

The first is that Sony could have been trying to get a title related to one of the "sequels" next month. Maybe Dark Souls (to hype Bloodborne and push interest in DS2), BF4, a FF or something else. They were close to a deal, but couldn't finish it in time, so Sony thought they could finish it in time and simply couldn't.

The next is that Sony or a company backed out of the deal and they're having problems replacing it. This wouldn't be the first time a Plus game got randomly changed (Orc Attack or whatever became God Eater within hours of the post because it was delayed) and countless possible answers.

The last possibility is that it's related to something Sony can't spill the beans on. Like maybe Konami wanted to reveal MGS GZ going free with Plus, so they asked Sony to be silent about it until they did their reveal. Hard to say, but anything is possible.

In the end, I just hope the wait is worth it.

why would you even want to play Lego games ? they have a Chinese factory quality feeling. the Lego games are the most milked franchise in all of gaming. last year there was like like 3 Lego games oh PS4 alone. they make FIFA and COD games look like they aren't milked. i'd even rather play an indie game than a Lego game. awful games that some how sell very well.
