Ahmad Khan writes: "Pixel art, while quite lovely at times, is everywhere these days, especially in the world of video game crowdfunding. While it's not completely unheard of, it's uncommon for us to find games that use some off the wall techniques for their graphics, like paper; but that's exactly what the folks at Team Petums are doing. They're making their point and click adventure game, Papetura, using paper. Real physical paper. The kind of paper that your grandparents used t use to write you $12 checks for your birthday. We recently spoke with the games creator, Thomas Ostafin, to get more details on this fascinating game."
Gareth writes: "Papetura on Xbox is superb in terms of the handcrafted visuals, but also in its strange world-building."
Gemma writes: "Papetura is a tribute to old-school puzzle adventure games and the craft of paper modelling, available now on Xbox and PlayStation"
"The Kraków- based (Poland) indie games publisher Feardemic and the Bytom-based (Poland) indie games developer Petums (Tomasz Ostafin), are today super happy and excited to announce that their atmospheric puzzle/adventure “Papetura”, is coming to Playstation and Xbox (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and the Xbox One) via digital stores on March 9th, 2023." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
This is a beautifully hand crafted puzzle game that I highLy recommend.
It is very short mind you, less than an hour.
I think it was developed by 1 person.
