''From the moment the epic title music kicks in and the awesomely polished visuals of the opening cut-scene appear you know Super Smash Bros. Brawl is going to be a classic. We've waited a very long time for this game and in that time it has been hyped to a quite ludicrous degree. The Wii has been somewhat starved of 'proper' games for fans to get their teeth into, so the arrival of this one has been eagerly anticipated. So with the Nintendo gaming hardcore salivating over the prospect of a true gamer's game to develop blisters on their thumbs with, does Brawl stand a chance of living up to the hype?'' (Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii) 9/10
