Just picked up my copy. Haven't played it before, so this will be sweet indeed!! :)

For $11 (Canada) and the reviews/comments I've seen, this is an unbeatable deal.

Same here-while I have played each game by themselves I've yet to play trilogy, this game was going upwards of two to three hundred dollars a few weeks back-to get it for a tenner has to be one of the most amazing deals in gaming right now!

Locknuts993d ago

OMG you're in for a treat. The first game is my favourite game of all time. It's phenomenal.

alphaomega88993d ago

Agreed...the first Metroid Prime is also my all time #1 favorite game, just absolutely amazing :)

Really gotta pick up a Wii U. I have the Wii But played it like twice, but the Wii U looks awesome.
And I can't get enough of Metroid!!!!!

kwandar993d ago (Edited 993d ago )

We had a Wii, but fell into disuse with the PS3. Nice thing though, all your games run on Wii U, has probably the BEST GAMES at the moment, all your Wii controllers work on it and they have some seriously great game deals.

The PS3 rarely gets used anymore to the point I'd like to get another Wii U, if they stopped tying the Nintendo ID to specific hardware.

Pick up an 8GB if you can get it cheaper, along with a USB HD if you don't already own one.

Get it this week while you can pick up Metroid cheap :)

@kwandar

What controls can I use to play them? I don't like Wiimote, I prefer regular controls.

kwandar993d ago

Wiimote and Nunchuck. Not generally my favourite but in playing a bit of the first game, they work surprisingly well.

Wow, so much amazing gaming for $10.

randomass171993d ago

A trilogy so it's like a three pack of $3.33 games? That's stupid cheap compared to what they go for individually lol.

GUYwhoPLAYSvideoGAME993d ago

but...i just bought the wii version... it was expensive....

alphaomega88993d ago (Edited 993d ago )

I am about to do the same but the collectors edition bc I never got it, as well as SMG2 and Punch-Out!...I just prefer physical copies of games.

xwilldemise993d ago

Wait so to be clear this is kinky compatible with motion controls? There's no way I can play the trilogy with the gamepad or a classic controller?

Slappy McGee993d ago

You have to have a Wii remote and nun-chuck.

superchiller993d ago

No, you have to use the waggle controls to play it, unfortunately. :(

xwilldemise993d ago

Damn not even for the first two games?( which I played with a GC controller back then!) =\ well time to search around to try to find that damn nunchuck

jholden3249993d ago

No you don't. There is no "waggle" in Metroid Prime Trilogy. Only top grade motion controls that work, in fact this might be the greatest example for motion controls superiority to date.

marloc_x993d ago

Wonder if Move waggles might be compatible..
