After Ubisoft’s decision to deactivate some Far Cry 4 keys from UPLAY – that were bought from unauthorized retailers – G2A and Kinguin went ahead and issued a statement regarding this issue.
It's funy while EA are trying to take steps to be less crappy, Ubi on the other hand is the new anti consumer company. Constant lies buggy games over use of cut&paste. Personally, I think it's time for Yves Guilemot to step down. PS. Ubi there are "cheaper" ways to get your games, burning people who paid cash can easily get the last laugh.
I wouldn't go jumping on the anti-Ubi bandwagon for this one, to be honest. I think there's more to the story than G2A and Kinguin are saying. It felt skeevy from the get-go with them.
Woops double post on edit, sorry.
I know this is unrelated but isn't that the Ultima 7 guy?
Yes, its "The Guardian"
Yeah I remember him from the opening cutscene when I was playing it on my psp lol.
Ubishit! Probably the worst devs by far this gen!
I really don't understand. The keys have to be from.ubisoft right? They wouldn't work unless they were made by ubisofts software?
The question is possibly how they are obtained or if they were paid for. They might have been a set of keys sent on good faith and not paid for or not completely paid for. To be honest, I'm not sure, but if Ubisoft made money off of the sales like anyone else, I don't see any reason why they would ever cancel the keys.
With G2A it's things like someone buying a copy in a region where the game costs less then selling it to someone else in a region with higher prices also if you buy a game on sale then you can sell the key later at a higher price. And simply people selling keys they got with a reseller discount. It's Ebay just for games.
never had a problem with G2A.
NOT TRUE AT ALL! KINGUIN GAVE ME FULL REFUND! Without ANY shields, insurances or anything! I repeat ANY ! I don't understand how a website like n4g can publish such bullcrap! Disgrace !
Calm down there, Skippy. N4G is a user driven website. The members approved this submission. As of now, I don't see anything wrong with the submission. This is NOT N4G's content.
