YouTube’s ‘Elseware-Experience’ has shared a video showcasing an interior apartment that was created in Unreal Engine 4.
Very impressive, the lighting is spot on.
Okay now THAT looks real.
Gears is gonna look bananas!
That is the closest thing I've seen to real life in a video game engine. We've come a long way.
inb4 people talk about fps, resolution and xb1 vs ps4 nonsense. In other news, this looks amazing. The future of games with this engine is pretty bright imo.
Well...since you mentioned XB1, resolution and the like...Unreal Engine 4 has adopted DX12...just sayin'
It looks so good
Was I the only one nervously waiting for the witch to pop out of nowhere and grab the player? Damn you, Kojima.
The word "unbelievable" is usually misused but his really earns that title! Woow
it scares me that graphics are beginning to look this good
Yeah that's what I like about games Feeling like I'm in another copy of the world
That apartment has to be like 20gb on its own. Herein lies the real issue, until someone invents a new storage device this kind of fidelity will be widely unused. It amazes me how Quickly Blu-ray is becoming obselete and flash drives are still way to bulky and expensive for this to be norm in the gaming community. However movies and television could definitely see a huge graphical jump in the next couple years.
There's no way this apartment is 20 GB... That's insanity. I doubt this level amounts to anything over 2 GB, because most of what makes this look good is the lighting and shading.
That is seriously amazing! Even the wood paneling in the back of the shelves looked like it had traditional faux wood texture to it... All the cloth, walls, lighting, and counter top surfaces all look perfect... This is some of the best graphics I have ever seen... Hopefully we will see this in gaming in the next few years :)
Real talk. I want this graphic style in an IKEA map, as an FPS built on the Unreal 4 engine. Make it happen.
I never thought I would say this but it is kinda scary!
With VR soon being common place, and this kind of photorealistic graphics...its hard to not think about we living inside some kind of advanced computer sim!
