Hardcore Gamer: After the mass success of the first two games in the series, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 was teased a few weeks ago, but already its developer Scott Cawthon is pitching the third installment on Steam Greenlight.
Within the time frame of 6 months the Dev squeezed out 3 of these turds.
Yay, more camera switching!
The dev is really milking it.
He kinda has too because the fad will go away sooner than later.
If they buy, let him sell. Five Nights At Freddy's wasn't the developer's first game, though it was certainly his biggest. Happy to see an indie developer find his cash cow, honestly. Even if I don't care to try the games. He wins. Youtubers win. The children that make up the bulk of the audience for the videos wins. Let it be.
look the game is cool with the back story and all, but can we seriously get a break and have actual development time put into these games? Maybe look deeper into what makes a horror game good? Because now its just "Jumpscares 3: The Video Game"
If it became 3d and you had to go and walk around the place...that would be freaky.
Lol, I have to admit that it is funny, it was rumored that the second one would have been released during this timeframe but AFAIK he released it early. Have to agree with others, let him milk it. I have played both and they are ideal games for a touch screen but playing them on PC is kinda silly. I just hope that the third one is going to be less mechanic (like in FNAF2 with the puppet rewinding and stuff) Edit: the premise does sound okay and if the image that was used in thumbnail is real in-game screencap, Im willing to bet that they could be trying to shift to 3D (since to me it doesnt look prerendered). This could open whole new possibilities by allowing modding capabilities. If this is true it could also mean that this could be the last FNAF game. When you allow modding in a game like this, the community is going to live a life of its own.
I have a lot of different games in my steam library I've ended up with most Nancy Drew games 22) most Tom Clancy games (17) and the Star Wars games (14) with Sid Meier (12) and Tomb raider (10) catching up to the ranks with the likes of Grand Theft Auto (7) , Resident Evil (5) and Final Fantasy (6) catching up sooner or later. There are some series that I just wish had more entries on steam such as Metal Slug , Silent Hill and Metal Gear. Maybe in due time but for now those silly Nancy Drew games sit at my "most games in a franchise on steam/in my own steam library list" Sometimes I feel odd announcing that out to anyone who ask about what games I have in my almost 2,500 steam library. Well it's good to hear that within the next two years there will be more Five Night's At Freddy's games than Nancy Drew games on Steam HA! Take that Nancy Drew!!!!
