Is This Dangerous Minecraft Hack Stealing Your Data Or Is Your Password Amazing?

Some dastardly villains have hacked some Minecraft users, potentially stealing some of their information. Whether you were a victim or not, maybe now is a good time to brush up on your internet security and change that password.

The story is too old to be commented.

This title is very misleading. The article is about phishing for data. Phishing is not exclusively a hack in itself. The words "hack, hacker, hacked, etc." are used very loosely these days. Typically a "hacker" has programming knowledge in which allows for him/her to reverse engineer code to work in their favor. For example, SQL injections in poorly written PHP code that can then be used to manipulate/take/remove/ database data. Databases are where passwords and credit card info are stored (As well as other data), if the company stores them.

Edit: To my post in reply to Cobra, I have found a website that can check shortener links. Useful if you are skeptical of a link!)

What site is that? I've been looking for one, but don't know which sites are good for that.
