These guys are hilarious... but They have some good points.
That Steve Ballmer vid is hilarious... All I can say is at least he had passion and energy.
Can't wait for GDC and E3.
IMO, exclusives have not been the strong point of Sony and Microsoft systems for at least a gen, now.
It's mostly about the multiplats for those two; that's what they're known and remembered for most, and it's why most gamers buy the systems.
That's not to say that they both don't HAVE good exclusives; just that they're not what people look at most of the time when deciding between the two. It's almost always about who gives the better experience to the multiplats hosted on each respective system. [well, that and a hefty dose of brand loyalty, but that's beside the point]
It's Nintendo that's surviving off of exclusives and needs them more than anyone.
Since third parties have killed any interest people had in getting their system for multiplats, by offering almost nothing other than older games that don't even have all their extra content, Nintendo doesn't have much of a choice except to rely on exclusives and the few smaller third parties that are willing to continue doing a decent job of supporting the platform.
"Sony now has to rely on exclusives to prevent Microsoft making a powerhouse comeback"
based on that comment alone, I won't even watch this fanboy crap. Assume elsewhere--particularly off the internet. Try the shower.
