I honestly believe Nintendo didn't think Amiibo would be THIS popular. I was surprised myself, to be honest.

I expect them to rev up production soon, given that the demand is no longer debatable.

One of the big things is they have only confirmed re-releases for Mario Party characters and Marth. That doesn't help other characters who are in demand and already gone from most stores.

Most were never even in most stores. There was no once they are off the shelves because most were never on them.

Alright, I'm going to explain a little about retail business. Sold out item = We don't have enough to meet demand so let's print more

If you're worried about discontinuation just look at characters that still are on shelves.

Learn to assess reality correctly please.

* That 60 inch $1,000 Tv....I don't HAVE to buy it....I'm not FORCED to buy it...but it's there for those that want to pay the price and it's quantities are limited.

* Your literally creating an issue out of nowhere just to create drama.

Just want to add, that not meeting demand on purpouse is also a selling/marketing strategy. You create the feeling, that the product is valuable and rare, or so popular that it is soldout everywhere.

You can bet, that if they would surpass demand and the shelves would be overflowing with amiibos, the news would be: Amiibos selling like shit - Nintendo is doomed.

But you maybe right and they just underestimated the demand.

Nintendo is still a nice company. I just think people give them too much leeway.

I love Nintendo and I always will, but even they can screw up. Not every game they publish or thing they create is gold. Game & Wario, anyone? Sing Party? Wii Party U? The Mario & Sonic games?

They have an incredible track record though, and I would never take that away from them. They're doing very well right now. They had a great 2014 lineup and the 2015 lineup is their best in many years.

The Amiibo thing sucks. It would be great if they created enough for everyone. I honestly didn't expect them to sell this well. They barely do anything for you, as far as gameplay goes. They're nice toys though. For the price, they're hard to beat. Very well made.

I think they made a comeback in alot of ways. I was gonna get a WiiU but its clear nintendos focus is 3ds so Im gonna pick up the new one instead.

But every "hardcore gamer" thought this Amiibo thing were to be a failure, and no one would buy a toy. And then, they sell like hotcakes. Bet Nintendo didnt expect those things to be so popular.
