Sony Computer Entertainment finally made the 10% discount codes issued in apology for the holiday outages available for the North American, European (including the Middle East), Japanese and Asian PlayStation Stores.
SUCCESS!!! Just got Yakuza Dead Souls with it. Let the 20GB download commence! See you in 3 days...
Yakuza Dead souls was pretty much Universally panned as far as I remember but personally I float somewhere between loving it and absolutely bloody adoring it. Maybe that's just because my two great loves are classic zombie movies and Japan, and the game does have its awkward elements but in my opinion no game has ever done the atmosphere of a brilliantly cheesy zombie B movie better.
That's terrible! :( I'm going on the app right now and hopefully mine will be done when I get home in 8 hours
Just got home and my download didn't work because I had to free up space! Go figure....
Got Citizens of Earth and Resident Evil Remastered. Can't wait to play em!
So ready to get into Resident Evil as well! Love the GC original. Picked it up as well as the Advanced Warfare lightning personalization pack today.
techland should also reduce price of dyling light digital to match retail price . fed up with the screw ups this gen,
Thanks for the gesture Sony but I have no use for this code. Can't even use them on pre-orders. This is BS. You can use it on a digital copy of a game like GTA V but it's still $54 when I can get a new physical copy for around $45.
I think the problem with this 'compensation' is that there is so many caveats to the offer it looks apparent that Sony will not be out of pocket at all for this but rather get increased revenue, and profits, from digital sales during what is normally a quiet time for gaming. Not to mention that, at least in my country, most digital content is much more expensive than boxed games. If preorders and PS+ subscriptions had been included then it would have been a genuine attempt to compensate people instead of the cynical offer it is.
Compensation? Did you forget about the 5 free days of PS+ they gave everyone? You know. To COMPENSATE for the 2 days the service was effected? I guess you did. This 10% discount is just something extra. If you don't like it, then just buy the boxed games for even cheaper, but dont pretend that Sony didnt compensate people.
I wasn't talking about the extra 5 days COMPENSATION I was talking about the 10% off blatant cash grab by Sony.
Well you referred to the 10% discount as if it was the only attempt at COMPENSATION that was made by Sony. You also called it a "cynical offer". You tore that part of it apart and acted like you were insulted by it, yet you did not once mention the fact that Sony had already over-compensated you and everyone else by granting 5 days of extended PS+ membership, when the service was only down for 2 days.
My Ps4 broke. :( Is there another way to access the store so that I can take advantage of this?
Type Sony PlayStation store in Google
Oh. Heh. I thought I tried to look up the Store online before and couldn't find it. Maybe that was years ago and they didn't have one then, IDK...
How do you brake a PS4? They're really solid and reliable machines that will last a long time if you just take care of it. You might be the first person I've ever heard say that their PS4 broke.
I threw it out a window. IDK, I was just launching a game, it froze, I had to unplug it because it wasn't responding to the power button, I turned it on and got a system storage error. I tried: 1) Adjusting the harddrive. 2) updating it in safe mode (It took TWELVE hours to copy the ~300mb update file from USB to Ps4 and it STILL didn't work). I would try to reset the ps4 with the 900mb file, but I'm not going to leave it running for a day and a half. I'm just going to have to send it in.
I noticed they have increased the price of witcher from £40 to £46 on the store...strange. Any how just used my discount for driveclub ...downloading now! A good gamble on a game for £18....
