GeekParty's Josh Wirtanen writes: "There’s one prediction that I’m pretty confident we’ll see come to pass: When the next Legend of Zelda game comes to the Wii U, IGN will call it the best Zelda game ever made."
Dat image tho
ign is a joke, they still say mcc is the best remaster
Who is "they"? Did all the employees say it at once or something?
I prefer ign article to n4g's , but ign stays late on the news
The MCC thing was a READER POLL.
Made me hard too
As well they should.
And because of stupid articles like this, if it becomes the best title they are not allowed to call it the best? What is the meaning of this article? Just hating haters again...
The article was that negative? Didn't seem that way to me
Exactly. What a stupid thing to write about. Grow up and worry about your own website. Jealous of the IGN website? I think so.
And what if it is the best zelda yet?
Miyamoto is not from this PLANET
With Notch being worth 2.5 billion and Miyamoto A.K.A the father of platform games only being worth 40 million...I don't want to be on this planet either.
Wow I never saw it that way! This planet is crazy! Am I in the same dimension???!
Well, no one bought Miyamoto out though. Integrity gains you less money I guess.
Probably. I hope it IS the best Zelda. They're finally adding things to Zelda that I wanted back in the GameCube days.
Why shouldn't they? If there's any game that deserves praise, well The Legend of Zelda is one of those series. With a TLoZ you KNOW for a fact you're getting a legendary game & your money's worth every iteration. Heck, people would rather them give CoD that praise instead?
Thats what happened with Halo 4 and Uncharted 3, both declared the best games of its series by IGN
How dare those reviewers have opinions of their own!
Wonder what would happen if the game were Uncharted 4 instead of Zelda.
Ocarina Of Time will always be the best Zelda game IMO.
My expectations ruined that game for me. I wanted more adventure and less story.
There is very little story in OOT....
I don't see the problem. The argument is convincing for each to be the best. IGN struggling to nail down a favourite is not uncommon for any fan of the series and gamer alike. Like for example, if I were asked to choose a particular favourite at this moment I would be stuck.
Unfortunately my favorite is considered the worst. Zelda II was fantastic and unbelievably hard
Why is that unfortunate? You enjoy it. That should be enough
While each to his own and suchlike, Zelda II, really!?
Not so sure. Audrey Drake left ign. She was the biggest Nintendo fan girl and she gave Skyward Sword 10/10. now she works at Nintendo, screwing up their localization a or something. I wish she'd just leave proffesionall part of the gaming industry. She's a fan girl best suited to be a part of the fan girl crowd, not behind the scenes.
Apart from the fact that it wasn't audrey who gave that review. I don't get why you hate her so much. Yeah she's a bit of a fan girl but she works for nintendo now. Isn't that exactly where she should be?
Just because she has a preferred platform doesn't make her a fangirl. She backed her views with valid points. People like what they like and shouldn't be criticised for it, unless their views are void of valid arguments like Greg Miller--the biggest fanboy to ever grace videogame journalism. Audrey is a better writer than Greg in my opinion. I personally gave Skyward Sword a 10/10. It's the most underrated game of last gen in my opinion. There has never been before or since been an adventure game that was controlled strictly with motion before, and it was implemented brilliantly. The people who didn't like the controls, sadly, didn't have the skill. It also had the best story to ever grace a Zelda game, and with the exception of skydiving, the game functioned perfectly. Call me a fanboy all you want, but I game heavily on my PC and PS3. My favorite game of all time is Fallout 2--I dare you to call me a fanboy ;)
